Voting Education- Election Day

As election day approaches, here are a couple of ways to engage in nonpartisan election activities!

Promote Civic Engagement

-Encourage people to vote in your communications, website, or events.

-Remind staff they are entitled to take time off to vote and participate in volunteer activities.

Educate Voters on the Voting Process

-Provide information on when and where to vote, such as finding their poll location, getting an absentee ballot, or contacting their local election office for help.

-Remind people of registration or election deadlines and dates.

Distribute Sample Ballots or Nonpartisan Voter Guides

-Display or provide an official sample ballot

-Distribute a nonpartisan voter guide about what is on the ballot.

Encourage People to Vote

-Send reminders to your staff, clients, and constituents about voting in the upcoming election and why voting is important.
